Public transport and taxi fares increased in Erzurum
Public transport fares in Erzurum have been increased. High fuel prices were cited as the reason for the hike. The new tariffs will be effective as of May 15, 2024.
In the urban minibus line fare schedule, the full ticket price increased from 11 TL to 14 TL, and the student ticket price rose from 7 TL to 10 TL.
Taxi fares in Erzurum have also been increased. With the transportation hike implemented by UKOME, the taxi short-distance fare increased by 66 percent, and the taxi meter opening fee increased by 50 percent.
With the hikes, the taxi meter opening fee, which was 20 TL last year, rose to 30 TL, and the short-distance fare increased from 60 TL to 100 TL.
The distance tariff (km) became 30 TL, while the unit distance measurement interval (100 meters) rose to 3 TL and the time tariff (hourly) rose to 114 TL.
