Real estate agent shot by neighborhood headman dies
A real estate agent who was shot by a neighborhood headman during an argument in Bahçelievler has passed away at the hospital where he was receiving treatment.
Real estate agent Şeref Yılmaz, who was critically wounded after being shot by neighborhood headman İbrahim G. during a dispute over a vehicle parked in front of his workplace in Şirinevler Neighborhood on January 29, could not be saved despite all interventions at the Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital.
It was learned that Yılmaz will be laid to rest tomorrow following the funeral prayer to be held at the Şirinevler Ulu Mosque during the afternoon prayer time.
Meanwhile, the suspect headman, who was taken into custody with his weapon on the day of the incident, was arrested by judicial authorities after the procedures were completed.
WHAT HAPPENED?
On January 29, an argument between İbrahim G. and Şeref Yılmaz over a parking space on Er Street in Şirinevler Neighborhood turned into a fight. Yılmaz, who was critically wounded by bullets fired from İbrahim G.'s weapon, was taken to the hospital, and the suspect was apprehended along with his weapon.
