Real police shock for fake police officers
Six suspects who posed as police officers and defrauded a citizen of 6 million TL have been apprehended in Kocaeli.
According to the information obtained, a citizen gave 6 million TL to individuals who called them on the phone and identified themselves as police officers.
Upon receiving the complaint, teams from the Kocaeli Provincial Police Department's Fraud Bureau launched an investigation and apprehended F.A., I.Y., I.A., S.B., B.A., and Ü.D. in Istanbul, who were found to be involved in the incident.
Following the completion of their procedures at the police station, the individuals were referred to the courthouse; 4 of them were arrested, while 2 were released, with 1 of them subject to judicial control conditions.
