The incident took place near Genç Osman Park in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood. According to the information obtained, retired police officer Ali Rıza A. (55), who left his home with his grandchild to go to the mosque, noticed an individual listening to loud music in a parked vehicle near the park while walking toward the mosque.

Disturbed by the loud music as he approached the vehicle, Ali Rıza A. warned the unidentified individual in the car to turn the volume down. The individual, ignoring the warning, first began shouting insults and threats, and then, when the retired police officer attempted to call the 112 Emergency Call Center to intervene, the suspect got out of the vehicle, beat him, and subsequently stabbed and wounded him.

As the wounded man collapsed to the ground covered in blood, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. The medical teams that arrived at the address in a short time provided the first intervention to the wounded man at the scene before transporting him by ambulance to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital Emergency Department. The wounded retired police officer explained the incident to members of the press who were filming him as he got out of the ambulance.

THEY BEAT ME FIRST, THEN STABBED ME

Retired police officer Ali Rıza A. said, "I was recording a video because they were playing music at a high volume. First, they robbed me of my phone. Then they beat me while my grandchild was with me. Then they stabbed me. There are such urban bandits. Even though I told them I was a member of the security forces and that I had no problem with them, they beat me up. They stabbed me. These people are not human. I will file a complaint and press charges."

While it was learned that Ali Rıza A., who was taken under treatment at the hospital, is in good health, the police have launched an investigation to apprehend the individual who committed the act.
