Schools closed for 1 day in Hakkari
Schools in Hakkari have been closed for 1 day due to snowfall and adverse weather conditions.
In a statement issued by the Hakkari Governor's Office, it was stated: "Due to heavy snowfall expected to continue throughout the night across our province, and the subsequent risk of frost and icing as temperatures drop below freezing, education has been suspended for 1 day on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in all public kindergartens, public and private primary, middle, and high schools, and private educational institutions across our province, excluding higher education institutions, private nurseries and kindergartens, public education center courses, and guidance and research centers. Pregnant and disabled personnel working in public institutions will also be considered on administrative leave on the aforementioned date."
