Schools closed in Bartın and Zonguldak

In a written statement issued by the Bartın Governor's Office, it was stated: "Due to the continuation of adverse weather conditions across our province according to meteorological data, education and training in all private and public educational institutions throughout the province have been suspended for 1 (one) day on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Disabled and pregnant personnel working in public institutions and organizations will also be considered on administrative leave for 1 day on October 2, 2024," the statement read.

The Zonguldak Governor's Office announced that education has been suspended for Wednesday, October 2, due to the ongoing adverse weather conditions.

In the statement made by the Governor's Office, it was said: "Due to the continuation of the prevailing weather conditions throughout Zonguldak province, education and training in all public and private formal and non-formal educational institutions have been suspended for 1 day on Wednesday, October 2."

In the announcement made by Governor Osman Hacıbektaşoğlu, it was also noted that disabled and pregnant public personnel would be considered on administrative leave on the specified date.
