Security measures in Taksim with mobile command center
The Istanbul Police Department has established a Mobile Command Center at the entrance of Taksim Gezi Park to ensure immediate intervention in case of negative incidents and to prevent crime in Beyoğlu and its surrounding areas during the New Year.
With only hours left until the New Year, human density continues to increase at symbolic locations in Istanbul, specifically in the Beyoğlu district, Taksim, and Istiklal Avenue.
The Istanbul Police Department has deployed tens of thousands of police officers as part of New Year's Eve security measures.
As part of these measures, a Mobile Command Center has been set up at the entrance of Taksim Gezi Park.
Police teams are monitoring the area in real-time from the command center, ensuring tight security. The teams continue to maintain security measures second by second from the command center.
