She had married two weeks ago, the young woman has disappeared
In Afyonkarahisar, a 17-year-old young woman who got married 2 weeks ago suddenly disappeared four days ago; it was learned that the young woman called her mother on the phone and said, "do not go to the police station, I will return as soon as possible."
The incident took place in the town of Gebeceler, which is connected to the city center. According to the information obtained, Meryem Nur Özay married İ.Ö. (25) on May 14. However, Özay suddenly disappeared 10 days after the wedding.
İ.Ö., who searched for his wife but could not find her, reported the situation to the gendarmerie and asked for help. In his statement to the gendarmerie, İ.Ö. claimed that they had no problems with his wife, stating, "We checked the security cameras of a gas station in the town and saw that my wife got into a commercial taxi and left there. My wife called her mother and said, ‘do not go to the police station, I will return as soon as possible.’

We learned that she was staying with a friend in the Erenler neighborhood, but we could not reach her. I am afraid that something might have happened to her, so I filed a missing person report about her," he said.
Upon the report, the gendarmerie teams took action and launched a search to find the missing woman.
