She set fire to the house where her ex-husband and his girlfriend were living
In the Babaeski district of Kırklareli, a woman poured gasoline on the house where her ex-husband and his girlfriend were staying and set it on fire while they were sleeping. One person lost their life in the incident, and one person was seriously injured.
The incident took place in the town of Karahalil in the Babaeski district. According to allegations, B.D. arrived at the house where her ex-husband C.S. was reportedly living with a woman named Ç.Ç. B.D. (40) poured gasoline on the house and set it on fire while C.S. (46) and Ç.Ç. (41) were sleeping.
Upon reports from those who heard the screams and saw the flames rising from the house, gendarmerie, fire department, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Checks by the medical teams arriving in the area determined that C.S., who was trapped in the flames, had lost his life at the scene. Ç.Ç., who was seriously injured in the incident, was taken to Kırklareli State Hospital by ambulance after initial intervention by medical teams.
Taking action following the terrifying incident, gendarmerie teams apprehended and detained the suspect B.D. While C.S.'s lifeless body was taken to the morgue following the prosecutor's examination, a comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
