Shots fired from moving vehicle: Bullets hit school, 1 arrest
In Kocaeli, bullets hit a school after shots were fired from a moving vehicle. While 3 suspects were apprehended in connection with the incident, 1 person has been arrested.
An investigation was launched in the Kartepe district regarding shots fired from a moving vehicle that resulted in bullets hitting a school. Acting on the report, police teams quickly identified and stopped the suspect vehicle.
A search of the vehicle uncovered an unlicensed handgun, a magazine for the weapon, and 13 cartridges loaded in the magazine.
Judicial proceedings were initiated against the suspects identified as E.Ö., T.E., and S.F.Ç., who were in the vehicle.
Following their processing at the police station, the suspects were referred to the courthouse, where S.F.Ç. was arrested by the court.
It was determined that the driver, E.Ö., had a blood alcohol level of 1.60 promille, and a total administrative fine of 350 thousand TL was imposed under the relevant articles of the Highway Traffic Law.
