Siirt Governor caught in the middle of an armed clash
Siirt Governor Dr. Kemal Kızılkaya was caught in the middle of an armed clash that left 2 people injured.
According to the information received, Governor Kemal Kızılkaya was caught in the middle of an armed clash between two parties in front of the Hacı Fethi Serin Mosque at the 15 July Democracy Square in the city center as he was leaving the mosque.
In the incident, C.T. was shot in the leg. The suspect, B.G., was neutralized by Governor Kızılkaya's bodyguards while attempting to flee.
The injured were transported to Siirt Training and Research Hospital following initial interventions by medical teams dispatched to the scene.
The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
