Snow depth reaches 5 meters in May
In the Mirgezer Base area located in the Doski Valley of Hakkari's Yüksekova district, snow depth has reached 5 meters in some places, while snow clearing efforts by teams continue.
Teams from the Hakkari Provincial Special Administration General Secretariat and the Yüksekova District Special Administration Construction Site Directorate carried out snow removal work on the road to the Mirgezer Base area in the Doski Valley, located 35 kilometers from the district center.
The teams, who experience difficult moments from time to time in the region where the snow depth reaches 5 meters in some places, are using excavators in areas where they cannot clear the snow with loaders.

Those who see the roads resembling tunnels cannot hide their astonishment and are taking photographs.
Stating that work will continue in the region, the snow removal teams noted that snow clearing efforts are ongoing in many parts of Yüksekova in May.
