Special message from İmamoğlu for Ali Asaf

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor and CHP's presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu expressed that he experienced emotional moments at an event held in Sancaktepe for Ali Asaf, who has achieved victory against cancer.

In a statement addressed to Sancaktepe Mayor Alper Yeğin, İmamoğlu noted that the event reflected social conscience and love.

In the message he wrote, İmamoğlu stated, "My dear brother Alper Yeğin, my esteemed Mayor; I watched the magnificent celebration you organized for our little Ali Asaf on television with teary eyes. As our Mayor, I wholeheartedly thank you and your entire team for this gathering that made everyone feel social conscience, love, respect, hope, and warm affection for children. I want you to give Ali Asaf a big hug for me, to bring us together in our free days, and to fly balloons with our little one on my behalf as well. With love and respect."

The event, which took place in Sancaktepe with the participation of thousands of people, was organized to celebrate the success Ali Asaf achieved in his fight against cancer. İmamoğlu emphasized that such events reinforce feelings of hope and solidarity in society.
