Specialist sergeant runs over his 5-month pregnant wife
In the village of Hasancalı in the Musabeyli district of Kilis, a specialist sergeant reversing his vehicle failed to notice his 5-month pregnant wife and ran her over. The 21-year-old woman lost her life at the scene.
According to the information obtained, specialist sergeant M.D., who serves in Diyarbakır, was reversing his vehicle with license plate 06 CUU 504 in Hasancalı village when he failed to notice his wife, A.D., who was behind the vehicle, and struck her.
21-year-old A.D. lost her life at the scene. It was learned that the young woman was 5 months pregnant and that the couple had been married for 7 months.
Following the incident, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the village.
A.D.'s body was taken to the morgue of Prof. Dr. Alaeddin Yavaşca State Hospital for an autopsy.
M.D. was taken into custody by the gendarmerie. It was stated that his interrogation is ongoing.
