Stabbed 20 times by the passenger he picked up
In Bursa, taxi driver Yunus Emre Yüksel (35) was stabbed 20 times and robbed by a 19-year-old suspect he had picked up as a passenger. While Yüksel was taken to the hospital following the incident, the suspect who fled the scene has been apprehended.
The incident occurred around 20:00 in the village of Çepni in the Mudanya district.
According to allegations, taxi driver Yunus Emre Yüksel (35) picked up two passengers, one of whom was a woman, in the Mudanya district who wanted to go to Eskişehir in his vehicle with license plate 16 T 4225.
19-YEAR-OLD ATTACKER
The two individuals, who returned after going to Eskişehir, said they wanted to get off in the district's Çepni neighborhood. There, the 19-year-old attacker grabbed a knife and wounded taxi driver Yüksel in the back and arm with 20 stab wounds.

Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area, and the seriously injured Yüksel was taken under treatment at Bursa City Hospital.

The suspects who fled the scene are being sought by gendarmerie teams.
Yüksel's relatives are waiting for good news in the hospital garden.
