Staff member assaulted by hospital manager speaks out
A staff member who was allegedly assaulted by a state hospital manager in the Sivrihisar district of Eskişehir has recounted the incident.
Sivrihisar State Hospital manager T.Y. allegedly got into an altercation with hospital staff member A.D. three months ago, which escalated into a physical struggle.
The moments when T.Y. assaulted the staff member were captured on the hospital's security camera. The Eskişehir Governor's Office has launched an investigation into T.Y.
"I don't remember anything"
A.D., who claims the manager assaulted him, stated, "The incident arose from an argument I had with a colleague at the hospital. Later, when we were going to discuss this matter with our institution's manager, it is clearly evident that I was assaulted, as we have already seen on social media.
Due to a brain trauma, I don't remember anything that happened after the first blow.
I saw and learned about the second assault later from the camera footage during the investigation phase. I requested that an investigation be launched. I hope these will be addressed. Other than that, as can be seen from the footage, I just saw it on social media as well," he said.
