Staggering amount of money found in beggar operation in Yalova
A person caught begging in Yalova was found with 164,000 liras and foreign currency on them. Six municipal police officers worked to count the money.
Teams from the Yalova Municipality Police Department apprehended an individual identified as M.P., who was found begging around the marketplace and the İDO Pier, and took them to the police station. During a search of the individual, 164,125 liras, 10 Euros, and 5 dollars were discovered on M.P.
Six municipal police officers were assigned to count the money, and the seized funds were confiscated under an official report. It was reported that legal proceedings have been initiated regarding the money obtained through begging.
