Heavy rain and strong winds affecting Adana caused damage to a house in the central Yüreğir district. In the Kiremithane neighborhood, the roof of a prefabricated structure on the top floor of a 3-story house belonging to retiree Davut Şahin was blown off by the force of the storm.
It was stated that there were 10-12 people in the house, including guests, at the time of the incident. The occupants, who panicked when the roof was torn away, experienced a brief moment of fear.

Teams dispatched to the address upon notification began an investigation at the house. The structure with the missing roof was also filmed by drone.
Describing what they went through, homeowner Davut Şahin said, “There were guests in the house. We were 10-12 people; everyone didn't know what to hold onto. We thought it was an earthquake; it was worse than a disaster. It tore through everything. Thank God nothing happened to the children. We will stay with neighbors until our house is repaired. I don't have the means to pay rent.”
