Storm warning for Istanbul: Saturday highlighted

The cold weather affecting Istanbul in general and the snowfallimpacting certain regionsprompted IMM Deputy Secretary General Murat Yazıcı, who is monitoring developments at AKOM, to explain the latest situation.

Murat Yazıcı warned about the stormexpected on Saturdaywith speeds reaching approximately 80 to 100 kilometers perhour.for urged Istanbul residents to be more cautious.

Yazıcı stated that the snowfall will leave Istanbul and that air temperatures will rise starting tomorrow. In his statement, Yazıcısaid the following:“On Saturday, especially

Since last night, the expected snowsnowfall has begun in the province. There was significant precipitation, particularly in the northern districts of Beykoz and Sarıyer.
