Students traveling to tournament in accident: 2 dead, 26 injured
A minibus carrying a group traveling from İzmir to participate in a weightlifting tournament in Denizli veered off the road and into a field near the Buldan district. According to initial reports, 2 people lost their lives and 26 others were injured in the accident.
The accident occurred when a student shuttle bus traveling from the Sarayköy district toward Buldan was involved in a traffic accident due to the effects of rainfall.
It was reported that there were both injuries and fatalities in the accident.
The license plate of the shuttle involved in the accident was identified as 35 BYZ 354. Health, traffic, and fire department teams arrived at the scene to intervene, and the injured were transported to the nearest hospital.
