Substance abuser's cries in Pendik mobilize emergency teams
In Istanbul's Pendik district, citizens called 112 after hearing a person shouting, "My God, help me." Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
The incident occurred on Miğber Street in Pendik. According to reports, citizens who heard the individual shouting "My God, help me" on the street became alarmed.
Upon the notification of those in the vicinity to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and police teams were directed to the scene.
The teams arrived at the address in a short time and approached the individual to intervene.
However, it was learned that the individual stated they had no health problems. During the examination, it was understood that the individual was a substance abuser. The individual, who refused the request for help, did not agree to treatment despite all the efforts of the teams.
