Tremors are continuing following the 5.2-magnitude earthquake that occurred off the coast of the Greek Cypriot Administration at 12:31.
Following the 5.2-magnitude tremor off the coast of Paphos in the Greek Cypriot Administration (GCA), earthquakes measuring 4.8 at 12:41, 4.2 at 12:59, and 5.4 at 17:23 occurred in the region.
FELT BY ONE MILLION PEOPLE
In a statement made by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), it was noted that the 5.2-magnitude earthquake, recorded at a depth of approximately 10 kilometers at 11:31 local time, was felt by 1 million people within a radius of approximately 300 kilometers, including the coasts of Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, and Syria. Warnings were issued regarding aftershocks.
