Sunbed dispute at public beach: Municipal police attacked
An operation was carried out against a business that was placing sunbeds without authorization and charging fees at a beach in Bursa that is intended for free public use. During the operation, a fight broke out between municipal police teams and the individuals involved.
The incident took place at a public beach located in the Mudanya district.
Municipal police teams raided the business after it was determined that they were demanding unauthorized fees from citizens for sunbeds and umbrellas.
During the raid, an argument broke out between the individuals collecting money for the sunbeds and the municipal police teams.
The argument, which escalated quickly, turned into a fight.
In the footage captured by the mobile phone cameras of bystanders, moments of the parties attacking each other with kicks and punches were visible. The fight was ended with the intervention of police teams, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
