Swimming ban in three Istanbul districts: 2-day decision for Beykoz, Sarıyer, and Arnavutköy
Swimming has been banned on July 4-5 in Beykoz, Sarıyer, and Arnavutköy due to the expectation of high waves.
The district governorates stated that the decision was taken due to the expectation of high waves and for the sake of public safety.
It was decided that the Kısırkaya Public Beach, located within the borders of the Sarıyer district, will be closed to sea and beach access for 2 days.
It was also announced that the swimming ban on the coasts, beaches, and bays bordering the Black Sea in Beykoz and Arnavutköy is being implemented within the scope of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442.
