Swimming banned in that province
The Sinop Governor's Office has banned swimming along the northern coast due to adverse weather and sea conditions affecting the city.
By the decision of the Sinop Provincial General Hygiene Board dated August 2, swimming has been banned all day starting from 09:00 on Saturday, August 2, along the northern coast from Sarıkum to the Ahmet Muhip Dranas Training Hotel in the central district of Sinop, and from the Sırakaraağaçlar Stream (Akliman Bridge opposite the Faculty of Fisheries) to Ada Başı, in order to protect the life and property safety of citizens.
It was stated that inspections regarding the ban will be carried out by police, gendarmerie, coast guard, and municipal teams.
