Teacher who fired gun at school in Beşiktaş apprehended
A teacher who fired a gun at the high school where he worked in Beşiktaş has been taken into custody.
Serdar A. (34), a teacher at Levent Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, allegedly drew a gun on the school principal following an argument.
After the gun jammed, Serdar A. went out into the school courtyard and fired into the air while clearing the chamber.
Upon reports from those who heard the sound, numerous police teams were dispatched to the area.

Police took the teacher into custody. Searches conducted on Serdar A.'s person and in his bag revealed 1 unlicensed handgun, 10 cartridges, and 3 knives.
It was learned that Serdar A. was a permanent staff member at the school and carried out the act claiming that he had been subjected to mobbing for some time.
