Terror in Tokat: Hammer attack during a debt dispute!
A hammer attack carried out over a debt dispute in the Erbaa district of Tokat was captured on a business's security camera.
The incident occurred the other day on Hükümet Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Erbaa district. Due to a debt dispute, Mert Torun and Bekir Y. (25) and Samet C. (25) argued and exchanged insults over the phone.
A short while later, Bekir Y. and Samet C. attacked Mert Torun when they encountered him on the street. Samet C. struck Mert Torun repeatedly on the head and then on his legs with the hammer he was holding. Those moments were captured on security camera.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured Mert Torun was taken by ambulance to Erbaa State Hospital, and after initial treatment there, he was transferred to Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Hospital.
