Tesla totaled after crashing into runaway trailer
A car was totaled in Sivas after colliding with a trailer that had detached from a moving semi-truck. One person was injured in the accident.
According to the information obtained, the accident occurred in the evening hours on Necmettin Erbakan Boulevard.
During the incident, the trailer of a material-laden semi-truck that was in motion detached from the vehicle for reasons yet unknown.
A Tesla-brand car traveling behind the truck struck the runaway trailer. Due to the impact, the car was totaled, and the driver was injured.
The injured driver was taken to the hospital by ambulance following initial intervention by medical teams.
The moment of the accident was captured on security camera. In the footage, it was observed that the electronic vehicle's collision avoidance systems did not engage. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
