The Bosphorus turns turquoise after three days of rain in Istanbul
Following the effective rainfall in Istanbul, the color of the sea in the Bosphorus has turned turquoise; the scenery was captured from the air.
Following warnings from the General Directorate of Meteorology, the rainfall that persisted for approximately three days in Istanbul created a striking sight in the Bosphorus. It was observed that the color of the sea turned turquoise after the rain.
The color change occurring along the Bosphorus line was recorded from the air, along with the city's iconic landmarks. The silhouettes of Rumelihisarı, the Maiden's Tower, the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge combined with the turquoise tones to add a different appearance to the Istanbul landscape.
The aerial footage also captured boats sailing in the Bosphorus and the coastline. The scenery that emerged after the rain stood out, particularly with the distinct change in the color of the sea.
