With the examination conducted at MAUN laboratories, it was understood that the origin of the material was a polyurethane material.

It was carried kilometers away from where it was located by air currents. Materials carried kilometers away from their source in the past, and even events described by the public as ‘it rained soil, it rained mud, or it rained frogs from the sky,’ show a similar nature. Explaining the initial work he carried out in the laboratory, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz said, “In the initial examinations we conducted following the falling of certain objects with the hailstorm in recent days, it is seen that these are plastic.

They can be fully identified with further technical analyses and more detailed research,” he stated.
