They blocked the road and attacked with knives: 17-year-old boy dies
In Adana, a 17-year-old boy lost his life and his two older brothers were injured after being attacked with knives by a group that demanded money from them. 5 suspects have been detained in connection with the incident.
The incident occurred on Adnan Menderes Boulevard in the central Çukurova district.
According to allegations, an argument broke out between two groups after suspects blocked the path of 4 brothers walking on the boulevard and demanded money.
As the argument escalated into a fight, brothers Erdoğan Ertaş (17), Yakup Ertaş (21), and Haydar Ertaş (21) were stabbed and injured.
Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
While medical teams determined that Erdoğan Ertaş had lost his life, they transported the 2 injured brothers to the hospital. Police detained 5 suspects in connection with the incident. The body of Erdoğan Ertaş was taken to the Adana Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for an autopsy.
