Tragic accident in sunflower field
14-year-old Nursefa Samur lost her life in a tragic accident that occurred during a sunflower harvest in Ağrı.
The incident took place in Aşkale Village, located in the central district of Ağrı. 14-year-old Nursefa Samur, who had gone to the village with her family to work as agricultural laborers for the sunflower harvest, was caught under the combine harvester attached to a tractor during the harvest.

After other agricultural workers noticed the situation, the 112 Emergency Call Center was notified. Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.
Despite all interventions by the medical teams, the young girl could not be saved.
Following the investigation at the scene, the body of Nursefa Samur was taken to the morgue of the Ağrı Training and Research State Hospital for an autopsy. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
