Tragic accident on Haliç Bridge! 1 person lost their life
A motorcyclist driving on the Haliç Bridge lost their life after crashing into an Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) road cleaning vehicle.
The driver of the motorcycle with license plate 34 GKA 434, whose identity has not yet been determined, was traveling in the direction of Okmeydanı on the Haliç Bridge when they rear-ended a vehicle with license plate 34 DB 3660 that was performing road cleaning work in the same direction.
The motorcyclist, thrown by the impact of the collision, lost their life at the scene.
Upon notification, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The body of the deceased motorcyclist was transported to the morgue.
Crime scene investigation teams conducted work in the area for some time.
Due to the accident, traffic flow on the Haliç Bridge was maintained in a controlled manner.
