Faik Ş., who was working at the Firuzbey Primary School construction site on Değirmendere Street in Paşamandıra, Beykoz, fell into water that had accumulated in the basement following rainfall. The incident occurred around noon.
According to allegations, a pool of water formed in the basement of the construction site following the heavy rainfall that affected Istanbul. His colleagues, who saw Faik Ş. fall into the water, which reached a depth of approximately 5 meters, reported the situation to the teams.
Upon notification, fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area. It was determined that the worker, who was pulled from the water through the efforts of the fire department, had lost his life.
Following the investigation at the scene, the body of Faik Ş. was taken to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute morgue. An investigation has been launched into the death at the construction site.
