Tragic news regarding woman missing for eight days
The body of a woman who had been missing for 8 days was found in an olive grove in the Gemlik district of Bursa.
The body of 72-year-old Yüksel Akın, who had been missing for 8 days, was found in an olive grove in the Kumla neighborhood of Gemlik. The body was discovered during an investigation conducted by the Gemlik District Police Department teams, who arrived at the scene following reports from local residents who became suspicious due to a foul odor near Porsuk Creek in the Kumla neighborhood.
Following the examination at the scene and the review by the duty prosecutor, the elderly woman's body was sent to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute to determine the exact cause of death.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
