Training aircraft crashes in Adana: 2 injured
A training aircraft crashed in Adana shortly after takeoff. Emergency teams were dispatched to the scene, and it was reported that 1 pilot and 1 passenger were seriously injured.
An "Ultra Light" class training aircraft belonging to a private aviation company crashed shortly after taking off from the Kelaynak Airstrip located in the Özler neighborhood of the central Yüreğir district.
The 39-year-old pilot, Burak Yürekli, and the 30-year-old passenger, Şeyda Doğan, who were on board the aircraft, were seriously injured.
The injured were taken to the hospital, and an investigation into the incident has been launched.
