Two stranded mountaineers rescued
Two mountaineers who became stranded while climbing the Aladağlar mountains in Niğde have been rescued by teams.
Two mountaineers who became stranded while climbing the Demirkazık peak in the Aladağlar mountains, located in the Çamardı district of Niğde, were rescued by helicopter.
Upon receiving information that 2 mountaineers were stranded at the Aladağlar Demirkazık peak and the Çağıl location, AFAD, JAK, and medical teams were dispatched to the area.
The 2 mountaineers climbing the Demirkazık area were rescued by a helicopter dispatched from the Konya 3rd Main Jet Base Command.
In a statement made by the Niğde Governor's Office, it was reported that health checks confirmed the mountaineers were in good condition.
