Two-year-old child assaulted by peers at daycare: Ministry issues statement
The Ministry of Family and Social Services has announced that, following an incident in a private daycare in Antalya where a 2-year-old girl was assaulted by other children, it has decided to file a criminal complaint against the negligent officials and appoint an investigator.
In a private daycare in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya, a 2-year-old girl was assaulted by two older children in a nap room for approximately 15 minutes.


The incident came to light through security camera footage, and the family has filed a criminal complaint against both the daycare management and the staff responsible for the incident.

In a statement regarding the incident, the Ministry of Family and Social Services noted that teams from the Antalya Provincial Directorate took immediate action following a report to the ALO 183 Violence Prevention Hotline, stating, "Following the inspection conducted at the daycare, it has been decided to file a criminal complaint against the negligent officials and to appoint an investigator.

As a Ministry, we will continue to follow the process meticulously to ensure that the negligent officials receive the necessary punishment," the statement read.
