University student found dead at friend's home
A university student was found dead at her friend's home in the Efeler district of Aydın.
The incident occurred in the evening hours at an apartment building on 215 Street in the Orta neighborhood.
According to the information obtained, Melisa Şengül (20), a student at Adnan Menderes University, went to her friend's home on the second floor of the building and, allegedly, fell asleep after spending time with her friends A.Ş. (21) and K.E. (21).
When her friends woke up after a while and could not wake Şengül, they reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the area. The medical teams that arrived at the scene in a short time determined that Şengül had lost her life.
Following the crime scene investigation conducted by the police teams, Şengül's body was taken to the hospital morgue, and it was learned that the exact cause of death would be determined after an autopsy.
The individuals named A.Ş. and K.E., who were in the house, were taken to the police station to have their statements taken.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
