Uzbekistan-bound plane makes emergency landing
A passenger plane traveling from Turkey to Uzbekistan made an emergency landing at Amasya Merzifon Airport due to a technical failure.
A passenger plane belonging to Qanot Sharq Airlines, which had taken off from Istanbul Airport bound for Tashkent with 152 passengers on board, was forced to make an emergency landing at Amasya Merzifon Airport due to a technical failure.
Amasya Governor Yılmaz Doruk announced that the plane landed due to a technical malfunction.
Governor Doruk stated that the passengers would be sent to Uzbekistan on another plane.
