Vehicle flies 50 meters after swerving to avoid hitting a dog
In Iğdır, a driver who swerved to avoid a dog that jumped onto the road lost control of the vehicle, flying approximately 50 meters and landing in a roadside canal.
The accident occurred at night on the Doğubayazıt-Iğdır highway in the Konaklı neighborhood.
The car with license plate 61 AHV 658, driven by Koray Sevindik and heading in the direction of Iğdır, swerved to avoid a dog that suddenly darted onto the road.

The vehicle flew approximately 50 meters and entered an old drainage canal located there. Citizens who witnessed the accident reported the situation to health, police, gendarmerie, and fire department teams.

The injured, who were extracted with difficulty from the car by health and fire department teams arriving at the scene, were taken to Iğdır State Hospital by ambulance and placed under treatment.
While the vehicle was totaled in the accident, the driver luckily escaped without injury. Police teams conducted an investigation into the accident.
