Verdict reached for father and mother who killed their 15-year-old son

Following the death of 15-year-old R.D., who was found shot in the head with a handgun on December 31 along the Kızıldere road in the Geçitli Cumhuriyet neighborhood of the Yüreğir district, the father M.D., mother S.D., and sister E.D. were taken into custody.

It was alleged that the child was a drug addict and was killed at home by his father with a handgun, and subsequently dumped by the roadside to make it appear as though someone else had committed the murder.

It was claimed that the mother and sister were also aware of the incident and assisted in the murder.

After their interrogations were completed, the father, mother, and sister were taken to the courthouse following a medical check-up at the forensic medicine unit.

While the father M.D. and mother S.D. were arrested, the sister E.D. was released under judicial control.
