Verdict reached for man who stabbed his wife to death
A man who stabbed his wife to death in the Kumru district of Ordu has been arrested.
The incident occurred yesterday in the Karacalı neighborhood. According to the information obtained, Serkan S. (38) stabbed his wife, Emine S. (36), a mother of 4, at their greengrocer shop following an argument, and then stabbed a minibus driver named Celil A. (52) about 300 meters away from the scene.
The woman, who was rushed to Kumru State Hospital in critical condition by medical teams dispatched to the scene upon notification, lost her life despite all interventions.
Serkan S., who surrendered to the gendarmerie teams after the incident, was referred to the courthouse following his procedures at the police station. The suspect was arrested for the crime of 'intentional killing' and sent to prison.
Meanwhile, the treatment of the injured Celil A. continues.
