Verdict reached regarding retired non-commissioned officer who shot a stray dog that attacked him
In the Kuşadası district of Aydın, a retired non-commissioned officer who shot a stray dog with a handgun, claiming it had attacked him, was released after giving his statement at the police station.
The incident occurred around 01:15 at night near Bülent Ecevit Park on the Güvercinada road in the Camikebir neighborhood of Kuşadası district.
According to the information obtained, retired non-commissioned officer Murat G. shot the stray dog that was barking and running toward him with his handgun.
Murat G., who was taken to the police station by police teams to provide his statement, was released following the procedures.
The injured dog was taken under treatment at the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality Animal Care, Feeding, and Rehabilitation Center.
