The incident occurred in the Anadolu neighborhood of the central Yüreğir district. According to allegations, Fadime Ö., who left her home due to domestic violence, went to her father Osman G.'s house.

Angered by the situation, the woman's husband, Eren Ö., and his brother, Mert Ö., arrived at the house in the evening and assaulted Fadime Ö.

Eren Ö. and his brother, Mert Ö., then threw a Molotov cocktail at the house where the woman had taken refuge.

While the house sustained partial damage due to the attack, the injured Fadime Ö. was taken to the hospital. It was learned that Fadime Ö. is not in life-threatening condition, while the attacking brothers were taken into custody.
