Teacher's violence against student in school caught on camera: 'You are filth, I will kill you'

According to allegations, the teacher, who subjected the student he called to the blackboard to verbal and physical abuse in the classroom, threatened the student and hurled insults. Those moments were recorded second by second by another student in the classroom using a mobile phone camera.

In the footage, the teacher is heard shouting at the student, saying, "You are filth, I will kill you." Following the incident, the students' families went to the school and submitted their complaint petitions. It was learned that the teacher had previously worked in Maltepe and was transferred to Pendik due to disciplinary issues.

Gül Ak, the older sister of a student in the class, said, "This morning, a student who is a friend of my sibling was subjected to violence by the teacher. Actually, this had happened to my sibling and their friends before, but they couldn't tell us out of fear. In today's incident, my sibling couldn't take it anymore, recorded the footage, and showed it to us when they got home. We immediately came to the school, submitted our petition, and filed our complaint. The family of the girl who was assaulted initially said, 'don't get involved, we will handle it,' but I did not stay silent."

B.S., who claims that the same teacher also assaulted them, stated, "I was assaulted by our art teacher, D.A. They came up to me for no reason and punched me in the shoulder. They are constantly blaming me. They even told me, 'you are harassing me, you would make a good nightclub bouncer.' I didn't want to say these things, but I can't take it anymore. They pushed me while I was going down the stairs, and I almost fell. They shout and scream and throw punches for no reason at all. They treat my other friends the same way. They lash out at us every day when they are angry. I want the necessary action to be taken."

Student Y.L. said, "I didn't come to school very often. One day when I came, my bag was on the desk. The teacher came and threw the bag at me. They grabbed me by my coat and said, 'why are you like this?' They said unspeakable things. This is not the first time; they have done it before. They do it not only to those who talk but even to those who don't."

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

It was learned that an investigation has been launched into the teacher by the District Directorate of National Education.
