Water rationing extended in Bursa
Due to water levels in dams dropping to critical levels, the planned water rationing implemented in Bursa has been extended.
The Bursa Metropolitan Municipality has announced that the measure, which was in effect between October 1 and October 16 due to water levels in the city's dams falling to critical levels, will continue until October 22.
According to the statement, the cuts will be carried out on a rotating basis in the Osmangazi, Yıldırım, Nilüfer, Mudanya, Gürsu, Kestel, and Karacabey districts.
The water cuts, which will be applied for no more than 12 hours daily, aim to save 100 thousand cubic meters of water.
