Wedding revelers cause tragedy in Giresun: 2 people lose their lives
In the town of Ören in Giresun's Eynesil district, Bilal Yetim has died in the hospital following the death of Hüseyin Ölçücü (58), both of whom were struck by stray bullets fired during a wedding.
Yesterday evening (August 10), bullets fired randomly into the air at a wedding in the town of Ören struck Hüseyin Ölçücü (58) and Bilal Yetim (62).
Hüseyin Ölçücü, who was rushed to Vakfıkebir State Hospital in critical condition, lost his life despite all medical interventions.
Bilal Yetim, who had been taken to Trabzon Faculty of Medicine, also passed away five hours later.
Following an investigation by the Gendarmerie into the incident, a suspect identified as Muhterem D. (65) was apprehended and taken into custody, with reports indicating that his interrogation at the Eynesil District Gendarmerie Command is ongoing.
