Woman who assaulted young girls taken into custody

Footage showing Bahar K., who is understood to reside in Körfez, assaulting young girls at different times has sparked widespread outrage on social media.

One of the videos, filmed in the middle of the street, shows the suspect grabbing a young girl by her hair and kicking her, while saying, "Take care of your child. You are 19 years old, you have a 2-year-old daughter." The footage also shows those around her watching the events unfold without intervening for some time.

In the continuation of the footage, it is seen that Bahar K. throws the girl to the ground, kicks her again, and pulls her up by her hair, while some people present try to stop the incident by saying, "Bahar, that's enough."

"I SWEAR I WILL KILL YOU"

In the same footage, after assaulting the young girl in the middle of the street, the suspect is heard threatening her, saying, "Look, I'm warning you. Next time, you won't be able to look in the mirror. I said 'I won't hit you.' You're just a kid. I have a boyfriend, and she has a boyfriend. If you run into one of them in Körfez, I will kill you. I've given my life to this. I swear I will kill you."

"SISTER, PLEASE CALM DOWN"

In another video filmed inside a house, Bahar K. is seen hitting another girl on the head and using profanities while asking, "Who is going to save you from here?" The young girl, who was being subjected to violence, is heard saying, "Sister, please calm down," with a look of fear.

"MAYBE HE HAS A WIFE, MAYBE HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND"

In another video recorded in a home environment, the suspect is seen applying psychological pressure to a different girl. The girl, who was being pressured in the presence of others, says, "Okay sister, I've already blocked him everywhere," while Bahar K. intimidates the young girl by saying, "You won't even know him. You will stay away from the boys of Körfez. Do some research. Maybe he has a wife, maybe he has a girlfriend."

"I CAN'T BREATHE"

In another video, another girl who was assaulted is seen gasping for air. Bahar K. is seen on top of her asking questions, and the girl being subjected to violence is heard saying, "Get off, I can't breathe."

"THE NECESSARY ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN"

Following the spread of the assault footage on social media today, the Kocaeli Police Department teams took action and detained Bahar K. and G.K.

It was learned that the suspects will be referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station are completed.

Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz shared a photo of the moment the suspects were brought to the police station with the note, "The necessary action has been taken."
