Workplace argument ends in bloodshed: Coworker severely injured with a utility knife

In the Tekkeköy district of Samsun, an argument between two people working at the same workplace turned into a fight. In the incident that took place in İstiklal Neighborhood, the tension that started between S.Ç. (24) and G.A. (39) due to an exchange of insults escalated quickly.

Allegedly, when the argument turned into a fight, S.Ç. injured his coworker G.A. in the back and left abdominal area with a utility knife. Medical teams were dispatched to the scene for G.A., who was severely injured.

It was learned that G.A., who was taken to a private hospital by medical teams, is in life-threatening condition and is continuing treatment in the intensive care unit.

S.Ç., who was taken into custody by the Tekkeköy District Police Department teams following the incident, was handed over to the Murder Bureau of the Samsun Police Department's Public Security Branch. The suspect, whose procedures at the police station were completed, was referred to the Samsun Courthouse.
